Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

The Schleich WILD LIFE Giraffe calf is a durable, multicolored plastic figure that represents a young African giraffe. Designed for children aged 3 and up, the figure is part of the Schleich WILD LIFE range and supports imaginative play and learning about wildlife. The realistic sculpting and paint details make it suitable for play scenarios, educational use and as an addition to collections focused on animals and natural habitats.

Advantages

This giraffe calf figure is made from sturdy plastic for long-lasting use and retains painted detail for visual realism. Its size and weight are appropriate for small hands, allowing easy handling during play. The figure supports creative storytelling and role play while introducing basic facts about giraffe behaviour and social structure that can prompt further learning.

Suitable for

  • Imaginative play for children aged 3 and older
  • Educational activities about African wildlife and animal behaviour
  • Dioramas, school projects and animal collections
  • Gift for young animal enthusiasts and collectors

Key specifications

  • Material: durable plastic
  • Theme: African wildlife / giraffe calf
  • Recommended age: 3 years and up
  • Finish: multicolored painted details

How to use

Use the figure as part of imaginative play sets, educational displays or as a model in storytelling activities. Combine with other animal figures and habitat accessories to create natural scenes. Clean the figure with a damp cloth and mild soap when needed; avoid submerging in water for extended periods to preserve painted details.

Recommendations

Supervise children under three years old and periodically inspect the figure for damage. Store the figure in a dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain colour and detail.
