How to use

Mount the splice box in a standard 19-inch rack at a suitable height and secure it with rack screws. Route incoming fiber cables into the cabinet and through the box entry points, then prepare and splice fibers according to the splice cassette instructions. Insert the colour-coded pigtails into the splice cassette and connect the pigtail connectors to the front-panel SC couplers. Use patch cables to connect the front-panel SC ports to switches, media converters, routers, modems or SFP modules as required.

Recommendations

Handle fibers with appropriate ESD precautions and use recommended fiber tools. Maintain minimum bend radii for OS2 single-mode fiber, avoid excessive tension on pigtails, and secure cable entries to prevent movement.
