The EXSYS EX-47900IS is a hardware-based serial converter that bridges RS-232 to RS-422 or RS-485 interfaces. It supports both 2-wire half-duplex and 4-wire full-duplex RS-485 modes, as well as RS-422 full-duplex. Automatic Data Direction Control (ADDC) eliminates the need for software handshaking.
