EQUIP – Through Official Distributors
Structured Cabling & Connectivity — Built to Last
EQUIP delivers a complete infrastructure range spanning 759 Ethernet patch cables, SC and SC/APC fibre couplers, high-density patch panels for rack installation, TV wall mounts, and USB-C PD 100 W adapters — everything a network installer or AV integrator needs in one catalogue. From entry-level patch leads to professional fibre optic accessories, EQUIP products are engineered for reliable performance in both home and enterprise environments.

Why Choose EQUIP at DistriNode?
SC vs LC Fibre Connectors
EQUIP stocks both SC and LC form factors in single-mode (APC green, UPC blue) and multi-mode (OM3 turquoise, OM4 beige) variants. SC APC couplers minimise back-reflection for long-haul single-mode runs; LC suits higher-density patch panels where space is tight.
Patch Panel Density for Rack Planning
Choose 24-port or 48-port EQUIP patch panels to match your rack unit budget. A 1U 24-port panel suits small server rooms; 48-port keeps cable runs short in larger installations. Plan for 10–15 % spare ports to allow future growth without re-patching entire sections.
TV Mount VESA Sizing Guide
EQUIP TV mounts follow the VESA standard hole-pattern system. Measure the horizontal and vertical distance between your screen's mounting holes (e.g. 200×200, 400×400 mm) and match to the mount's stated VESA compatibility. Always verify the mount's maximum weight rating against your TV's mass.
USB-C PD Wattage — What You Need
EQUIP's USB-C adapters include 100 W Power Delivery (PD) models such as the 133476, capable of fast-charging laptops, tablets, and phones simultaneously. Match the adapter's PD wattage to your device's maximum input: 45–65 W for most laptops, 18–30 W for tablets, 15–25 W for smartphones.
Find EQUIP Products by Category
Pro Tip — SC APC vs SC UPC: SC APC connectors (green housing) are angled at 8° to redirect back-reflection away from the fibre core, making them the correct choice for single-mode long-distance runs and PON networks. SC UPC connectors (blue housing) have a flat-polished end-face and are suited to short single-mode or legacy multimode links. Never mix APC and UPC on the same fibre run — the physical incompatibility causes high insertion loss.
Frequently Asked Questions
What Ethernet cable categories does EQUIP stock at DistriNode?
EQUIP's range at DistriNode covers Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A, and Cat 7 patch cables in various lengths and colours. Cat 6A supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 m and is recommended for new structured cabling installations, while Cat 6 is a cost-effective choice for standard Gigabit networks.
Are EQUIP fibre couplers compatible with third-party cables?
Yes. EQUIP SC and LC couplers follow IEC 61754 dimensional standards, so they mate correctly with any compliant SC or LC connector regardless of manufacturer. Ensure you match the connector type (SC, LC) and polish type (APC or UPC) — mixing APC and UPC on the same link causes excessive insertion loss.
Does DistriNode offer bulk or trade pricing on EQUIP products?
Yes. DistriNode supplies EQUIP through official distributors and can provide volume pricing for resellers, system integrators, and installers. With over 1,600 EQUIP lines in stock — from patch leads under R 10 to professional fibre solutions — contact our trade desk for a tailored quote.
