How to use

Place the scale on a stable, level surface. If using batteries, insert 4 x 1.5 V AA cells; alternatively connect a 6 V mains adaptor (accessory 50 555). Fold the platform down for regular weighing or fold it up to accommodate larger envelopes while leaving the display visible. Switch on the scale, wait for the zero indication, place the item on the platform, and read the weight from the display. Use the TARE function to subtract the weight of containers or envelopes when required. The scale will automatically switch off after approximately 2 minutes of inactivity in battery mode.
