How to use

Install the Eaton 5PX1500IRT2UG2 in a rack (2U) or as a tower using the supplied pedestal and rail kit. Connect critical devices to the UPS C13 outlets and plug the UPS into a conditioned AC source. Use the graphical LCD to review status, runtime and energy metering. For networked monitoring, install the Eaton Gigabit network management card (included on Netpack models) and configure remote access according to your security policies. Follow the user manual for battery configuration, runtime estimation and safe shutdown procedures.

Recommendations

For extended runtime, add up to four compatible external hot-swappable battery modules. Enable ABM® battery management and perform regular firmware updates via the network management card to maintain efficiency and security. Monitor kWh values through the LCD or Eaton Intelligent Power Software to plan capacity and cooling needs.
