Audio extension cable e p B 125/5 LOSE — 3.5 mm male to 3.5 mm female, 5 m, black

Audio extension cable e p B 125/5 LOSE is a 5 m black cable with a 3.5 mm male plug on one end and a 3.5 mm female socket on the other. It is designed to extend headphone, speaker or line-level connections between devices, allowing users to keep audio sources and playback equipment in convenient positions without relocating components. The cable's flexible construction supports reliable signal transfer for listening, recording and AV setups while maintaining a compact and unobtrusive appearance.

Advantages

The 5 m length provides extra reach for connecting devices across a room or between furniture. Standard 3.5 mm connectors ensure compatibility with most headphones, portable speakers, smartphones, tablets and audio equipment that use a stereo mini-jack. A flexible outer sheath helps with cable routing and reduces stress on connectors, while the straightforward male-to-female design preserves the original plugs of connected devices.

Suitable for

• Extending headphone cables to allow comfortable listening from a distance
• Connecting portable audio players or smartphones to speakers or car AUX inputs
• Extending connections between mixers, recorders and monitoring headphones in small studios
• Temporary AV setups where devices cannot be repositioned

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector 1: 3.5 mm male
• Connector 2: 3.5 mm female
• Product colour: Black
• Connector configuration: stereo mini-jack extension (male to female)

How to use

Insert the 3.5 mm male plug of the extension cable into the audio output of the source device, such as a smartphone, laptop or audio interface. Plug the headphone, speaker or other 3.5 mm-equipped device into the female socket at the other end. Ensure plugs are fully seated to maintain optimal contact and audio quality. When not in use, coil the cable loosely to avoid kinks and store in a dry place.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharply bending the cable near the connectors and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources (large power supplies or motors) to minimise possible interference. Use the extension cable for short- to medium-distance analog connections; for long runs or balanced connections consider appropriate alternatives.
