Dyson Supersonic Nural™ magnetic styling attachments provide intelligent, interchangeable styling tools that connect magnetically and offer preset airflow and heat settings which you can customise. The machine recognises which attachment is connected using a Hall sensor and automatically recalls the last-used settings. The hair dryer features an instant 28°C cold shot to set styles and a Scalp protect button that, when ON, automatically lowers heat near the scalp; when OFF you can manually select your preferred heat. Capsule illumination deactivates if Scalp protect mode is turned off while compatible attachments are connected.

How to use

Attach the desired magnetic styling attachment; the dryer will detect it and recall the last-used settings, which you can adjust manually. Choose one of three airflow speeds and one of four heat settings depending on your hair and styling goals: High (fast drying and styling), Medium (regular drying), Low (diffusing). Use the Scalp protect button ON to reduce heat automatically when working close to the scalp, or OFF to select heat manually. For finishing, press the 28°C cold shot to set the style. For Wave+Curl diffuser, fit or remove the prong bed to switch between Diffuse and Dome modes according to the curl definition or volume you want.

Recommendations

Use lower heat settings and the Scalp protect mode for fine or damaged hair. For enhanced curl definition, use the Wave+Curl diffuser in Dome mode; for more root volume and textured coils use Diffuse mode. Clean attachments regularly and avoid obstructing airflow to maintain performance.
