The KWB 044568 drill bit set contains three tungsten-carbide-tipped masonry and concrete drill bits designed to ISO 5468. Bits are high-temperature brazed with laterally and vertically secured carbide plates and an asymmetrical spiral profile to remove chips efficiently. The set is finished in chemical black and features a ground spiral suited for drilling in concrete, masonry, granite, natural and reconstituted stone, and limestone. These hammer-resistant, high-performance bits are intended for use in rotary and impact (hammer) drills and are manufactured for right-hand rotation.

How to use

Secure the appropriate drill bit size in the drill chuck according to the required hole diameter. Use a rotary or impact drill set to right-hand rotation. Begin drilling at a moderate speed to establish the hole, then increase speed while applying steady, even pressure; allow the bit to remove chips and cool naturally. For deep holes, periodically withdraw the bit to clear debris. Do not force the bit—let the carbide tip cut the material and avoid excessive side load to prevent tip damage.
