DIGITUS Cat.6A Installation Cable S/FTP Eca AWG 23/1 LSOH 500m Blue Reel

High-speed networks demand cabling that can handle the relentless growth of data traffic without compromising signal integrity or safety. The DIGITUS Cat.6A Installation Cable meets this challenge head-on, delivering robust 10 Gigabit performance over a 500-meter reel, engineered for structured cabling in commercial and industrial environments. This S/FTP cable provides superior protection against electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable and reliable data transmission even in challenging settings.

Who is it for

This cable is ideal for network installers, IT infrastructure managers, and system integrators who require a high-performance, fire-safe cabling solution for backbone or horizontal installations. It is particularly suited for data centers, office buildings, and industrial facilities where high bandwidth and low signal loss are critical. The LSOH jacket makes it a responsible choice for public buildings and areas with strict fire safety regulations.

Main features

• Cat.6A performance supports 10GBase-T Ethernet up to 500 MHz, future-proofing your network for high-bandwidth applications.
• S/FTP shielding (pairs in metal foil with overall braid screen) provides excellent protection against external interference and minimizes crosstalk.
• Solid bare copper conductors (AWG 23/1) ensure low attenuation and reliable signal transmission over long distances.
• LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket reduces toxic and corrosive gas emissions in case of fire, enhancing safety in enclosed spaces.
• Compliant with ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, and TIA/EIA-568-C.2 standards for guaranteed interoperability.

Tips

For optimal performance, ensure proper grounding of the cable shield at both ends using shielded connectors and patch panels. When installing, maintain the minimum bend radius as recommended by the manufacturer to avoid damaging the internal structure. This cable is suitable for use in Eca fire class areas, but always check local building codes for compliance.
