How to use

Connect one end of the network cable to the main unit and the other end to the remote module or to the device/port under test. Select the required test function on the tester (continuity, wiring map, shield, short or PoE) and start the test. Observe the color-coded LEDs or graphical display and listen for the signal tone to identify open circuits, miswires or shorts; read the PoE detection result to determine the presence and voltage class on the port. For long cable runs, use the remote module to verify end-to-end wiring and locate the connected pins.
