Precision diagonal pliers Knipex 78 81 125 designed for ultra-fine cutting tasks in electronics and fine mechanics. The tool features very sharp, ground cutting edges without bevel for flush cutting and precision-shaped tips capable of cutting wires resting on a board from 0.2 mm diameter. The joint uses a stainless steel rivet and cutting edges are additionally induction hardened. The pliers are available in INOX or special tool steel and include an opening spring and opening limiter for controlled operation.

How to use

Place the wire as close as possible to the board or the workpiece and position the precision tips around the conductor. Apply steady, even pressure on the handles until the cutting edges shear through the wire to achieve a flush cut. Use the opening spring to ease repeated cuts and the opening limiter to control maximum jaw opening. Maintain a perpendicular cutting angle for best results and avoid twisting or levering the pliers during the cut.

Recommendations
