Desk fan Tristar VE-5724

The Tristar VE-5724 desk fan is a compact table-mounted fan with a 30 cm diameter blade set, designed to provide targeted airflow in small rooms and personal workspaces. It offers three adjustable speed settings and an oscillation function to distribute air across a wider area. With a rated power of 40 W and a white finish, this fan is intended for straightforward everyday use on desks, bedside tables or small tables where quiet, efficient air circulation is required.

Advantages

The fan's 30 cm diameter blade delivers a balance between airflow and compact size, while three speed levels allow simple control of airflow intensity. Oscillation increases coverage, helping to circulate air across a room instead of directing it in a single fixed direction. Its table placement and lightweight design make it easy to reposition, and the white colour integrates unobtrusively into most interiors. The 40 W power rating indicates modest energy consumption suitable for personal use.

Suitable for

• Personal cooling at a desk, home office or study area
• Supplementary air circulation in small living rooms or bedrooms
• Placement on bedside tables for targeted airflow during sleep
• Temporary cooling in kitchens, workshops or hobby rooms with limited space

When it may not be suitable

This desk fan is designed for small spaces and personal use; it is not intended to cool large rooms or serve as a replacement for an air conditioning unit. The modest 40 W motor provides limited airflow compared with larger or more powerful portable fans, so it may not be suitable in very hot or spacious environments where high-volume circulation is required.

Key specifications

• Blade diameter: 30 cm
• Number of speed settings: 3
• Oscillation: yes
• Placement type: table/desk
• Colour: white
• Power consumption: 40 W

How to use

Place the Tristar VE-5724 on a stable, flat surface such as a desk or table. Connect the fan to a compatible mains outlet and select the desired speed using the controls. Enable oscillation if broader air distribution is needed; disable oscillation to direct airflow to a single spot. For safety, avoid placing the fan near water sources and keep the grille clear of obstructions. Always switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or moving it.

What to consider before purchase

• Room size and whether a 30 cm desk fan will provide sufficient airflow
• Requirement for oscillation versus fixed directional airflow
• Noise tolerance, since table fans can produce audible sound at higher speeds
• Available desk or table space and stable placement

Recommendations

For the best balance of airflow and quiet operation, start on a lower speed and increase only if needed; use oscillation to improve room circulation rather than continuous high-speed operation.
