How to use

Install the Mio MiVue C590 on the windshield near the rearview mirror using the included mount so the lens has an unobstructed view of the road. Insert a compatible MicroSD card (up to 256 GB) and connect the power cable to your vehicle’s 12 V outlet. The dashcam will start recording automatically when the ignition is turned on. Use the 2" display to review footage, and enable GPS logging in settings to record location and speed. For Parking Mode recordings, connect the separately sold SmartBox III and enable motion detection in the device menu.

Recommendations

For reliable evidence capture, format the MicroSD card in the dashcam before first use, keep firmware and safety camera data up to date, and position the camera to avoid reflections and obstructions. Note that safety camera alerts are disabled for France, Germany, Switzerland and Turkey.
