Impressive HD screen and external GPS

With a 2-inch HD display, you can easily set up and review recordings, a convenient alternative to using Wi-Fi and a smartphone. The GPS module records speed and route data in the video file, allowing compatible players to display this information during playback. The module also synchronizes the camera's clock with GPS time so that the recordings are properly time and date stamped.

Additional options for better use

Available for sale separately, the CPL (Circular Polarizing Lens) filter reduces reflections and glare from the windshield and road surface to improve image quality. It works similarly to polarized sunglasses. You can also equip yourself with a Bluetooth remote control, which you mount conveniently on your dashboard. It allows you to protect important recordings from being overwritten without having to take your eyes off the road.

Capacitor power supply

How to use

Install the front camera on the windshield behind the rear-view mirror and mount the rear camera to cover the vehicle's rear view, routing the cable neatly along trim panels. Insert a compatible, high-quality microSD card formatted in the device, then power the dash cam from the vehicle's 12V socket or a hardwire kit. Use the VIOFO smartphone app over WiFi to view live footage, change settings, and download recordings. Enable GPS in settings to record location and speed data. For parking monitoring, connect a constant power source or install an optional hardwire kit and configure voltage cut-off and motion detection sensitivity through the app or menu.

Recommendations

Use a high-endurance, high-speed microSD card from a reputable brand and format it in the camera before first use. Position the front camera behind the rear-view mirror to minimize obstruction, and test WiFi and GPS functions after installation to ensure proper recording and location tagging.
