The XVR5000-I3/T Series offers powerful recorders that work in conjunction with 1080p HDCVI cameras, delivering smooth and crisp live videos along with an array of advanced security functions. Two-way talk
Allows for seamless communication between the camera, client and recorder over coaxial cable, and offers instant voice intercom and timely audio alerts.

Enhanced Encoding
Encoding Enhancement mode optimizes videos through real-time encoding to make them smoother and improve scene rendering.

Face Recognition
Dahua Face Recognition technology extracts the features of captured faces and compares them with that in face database. *Face Recognition takes effect when Face is selected in AI Mode.

Perimeter Protection
Automatically filters out false alarms caused by animals, rustling leaves, bright lights, etc. Enables system to act secondary recognition for the targets. Improves alarm accuracy. *Perimeter Protection takes effect when IVS is selected in AI Mode.

AcuPick
This industry-leading search technology effectively utilizes back-end intelligence to help with searching through massive video data to quickly and conveniently locate targets with greater precision. *AcuPick takes effect when AcuPick is selected in AI Mode.

SMD Plus
With intelligent algorithm, Dahua Smart Motion Detection technology can categorize the targets that trigger motion detection and filter the motion detection alarm triggered by non-concerned targets to realize effective and accurate alarm.

How to use

Install the XVR in a standard 1U rack or on a stable shelf and connect cameras using the supported analog or IP interfaces. Insert HDDs into the two SATA bays and configure storage settings in the recorder menu. Use the menu to enable WizSense AI modes (Face, IVS, AcuPick or SMD) according to the required analytics. Connect network and set up user accounts; access live view and playback via the client software, mobile app or web interface. Configure two-way talk over coax if required by connecting compatible cameras and enabling the feature in system settings.

Recommendations

Enable appropriate AI modes based on the site: select Face for face-related tasks, IVS for perimeter protection, and AcuPick when fast post-event search is a priority. Keep firmware and client software up to date, and use the Smart H.265+/H.265 mode to balance image detail with storage efficiency. For best results, combine analog and IP cameras only as needed and ensure incoming bandwidth does not exceed the device limit.
