The D-Link DGS-1250 Series Smart Managed Switch delivers cost-effective performance for enterprise access and small-to-medium business (SMB) aggregation. Available in 24- and 48-port 10/100/1000BASE-T configurations, each switch can include four additional 10G SFP+ ports for fiber connections. How to use

Install the switch in a standard 19-inch rack or place it on a flat surface. Connect uplink fibers to the SFP+ ports and copper devices to the RJ-45 ports. For PoE models, attach powered devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones or wireless access points to PoE ports; the switch will supply power automatically according to IEEE 802.3af/at. Configure the device using the web interface, CLI over the console port, or other supported management methods; set VLANs, QoS policies, PoE schedules and static routes as required. Use Dual Image and Dual Configuration features to apply updates safely and rely on STP/RSTP/MSTP to maintain network stability during topology changes.
