How to use

Connect the DPS-500A to any compatible D-Link switch using the supplied cable. If installing in a rack, insert the module into a DPS-800 chassis (up to two modules per chassis) and secure the chassis in a standard 19-inch rack. Power the unit from an AC mains source within the specified range. No changes to the switch configuration are required; the RPS monitors the internal power supply and provides backup automatically when a failure is detected.

Recommendations

Install the DPS-500A in an environment with adequate ventilation and stable AC supply. For rack installations, use the DPS-800 chassis to enable hot-swappable redundancy.
