How to use

Install the ZALMAN CNPS14X Duo Black according to the manufacturer's mounting instructions for your CPU socket, ensuring the cooler is oriented to allow unobstructed airflow through the case. Apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste to the CPU surface before seating the base of the heatsink. Secure the mounting platform and fans so that both 120 mm fans have adequate intake and exhaust paths within the chassis. Connect the fan power headers to appropriate motherboard fan headers and configure fan curves in BIOS or with system software to balance cooling performance and acoustic level.

Recommendations

For optimal results, verify case clearance and RAM clearance before installation, and ensure case airflow supports front intake or rear exhaust to complement the cooler's airflow direction. Periodically clean dust from fan blades and heatsink fins to maintain performance. Adjust fan curves to increase RPM during sustained heavy load and lower RPM during idle or light use to minimize noise.
