The QSA connection technology provides orderly termination of plastic-insulated cables and jumper wires, allowing individual screened circuits to be terminated. The QSA connection module is offered as 10-pair and 20-pair units and is suitable for small distribution units. It includes Insulation Displacement Contacts (IDC) arranged in 20 or 40 positions and is compatible with QSA / LSA-Plus® approved IDC insertion tools. Modules accept conductor diameters from 0.4 to 0.8 mm. Earth strips for 44 or 84 wires, a range of accessories and overvoltage protection devices complete the product family.

How to use

Mount the QSA module by screw fixing into the small distribution unit following the specified fixing dimensions for the chosen pair count (96 mm for 10 pairs, 170 mm for 20 pairs). Insert insulated conductors into the IDC contacts and use QSA / LSA-Plus® approved IDC insertion tools to terminate the conductors. Fit earth strips where required and install appropriate overvoltage protection accessories to complete the installation. Verify conductor seating and circuit screening after termination.

Use only QSA / LSA-Plus® approved IDC insertion tools and observe conductor diameter limits (0.4–0.8 mm). Follow DIN 47608 fixing dimensions for correct mounting and install earth strips and overvoltage protection as required by the installation to ensure proper grounding and surge safety.
