Cool box Campingaz Powerbox Plus 24 L Electric Blue

The Campingaz Powerbox Plus 24 L Electric Blue is a portable cool box designed for outdoor use, offering 24 litres of storage with enough room to accommodate standard 1.5 L bottles. Its body uses polyurethane insulation to maintain lower internal temperatures, while dual power options—AC (230 V) and DC (12 V via vehicle cigar lighter)—allow operation from mains power or a car battery. Inner dimensions measure approximately 33 cm wide, 24 cm deep and 31 cm high, and the unit weighs about 3.6 kg for easy transport and placement.

Advantages

The cool box combines insulated construction and active cooling to provide more consistent temperature control than passive ice-based solutions. Dual power compatibility increases versatility for trips where mains power is available or when relying on a vehicle. Its compact footprint and modest weight make it convenient to carry and stow in caravans, trunks, or boat lockers. The interior layout is sized to accept common beverage bottles and food containers without wasting space.

How to use

Place the cool box on a stable, level surface and ensure adequate ventilation around the cooling unit. Connect to a suitable power source using the AC cable for mains operation or the DC lead for vehicle use. Pre-chill the interior by running the unit for a short time before loading items for best results. Arrange bottles and food items to allow air circulation inside the compartment and avoid overfilling. For cleaning, disconnect power and wipe interior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent; dry thoroughly before storing.

Recommendations

For optimal temperature maintenance, pre-cool beverages and set the unit on mains power when possible. Avoid placing the cool box in direct sunlight or next to heat sources. When using the DC connection from a vehicle, monitor battery condition and avoid prolonged use with the engine off to prevent vehicle battery drain.
