The ComNet CLRFE1EOCP/M is a compact, single-channel Ethernet over Coax (EoC) transmitter designed to extend 10/100BASE-T Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE) over existing coaxial cable infrastructure. Ideal for IP camera, Wi-Fi access point, and network device deployments where running new Cat5/6 cable is impractical, this ultra-mini transmitter supports PoE input (802.3af/at) and delivers up to 25W PoE output over coax to remote devices. With a maximum coax distance of 800m with PoE and 1000m for data-only, it provides a cost-effective, reliable solution for extending network connectivity in harsh environments.

Advantages

Leverages existing coax cabling to reduce installation costs and time. Supports both data and power over a single coax line, eliminating the need for separate power cabling. Ultra-compact form factor fits in tight spaces. Wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +70°C) ensures reliable performance in extreme conditions. Compatible with Veracity Longspan Lite receivers for flexible system design.

Suitable for

  • Extending IP camera networks over legacy coax infrastructure
  • Connecting Wi-Fi access points in remote or outdoor locations
  • Deploying network devices in industrial, transportation, and security applications
  • Retrofitting existing coax-based CCTV systems with IP technology
