The CLUB3D USB 3.2 Gen1 Active Repeater Cable CAC-1404 extends standard USB cable reach by an additional 5 m (16.4 ft) while preserving full USB 3.2 Gen1 SuperSpeed data rates up to 5 Gbps. This active repeater cable is plug-and-play, compatible with Windows and Mac OS X, and is suitable for connecting external HDDs, NAS, digital cameras, external USB graphics adapters or for VR setups that require greater freedom of movement away from a PC or notebook.

How to use

Connect the male USB A plug of the CAC-1404 to the host computer and attach your USB device to the female USB A connector. The active repeater functionality is automatic and requires no software installation. If the connected device requires additional power, attach an external Micro USB power cable (not included) to the repeater as described in the device documentation.

Recommendations

For devices with higher power demands, use an external Micro USB power cable (Club 3D CAC-1408 recommended, sold separately). Avoid sharp bends and keep the cable clear of strong electromagnetic sources to maintain optimal SuperSpeed performance.
