The CLUB3D Active Repeater Cable USB 3.2 Gen1 CAC-1405 extends USB A connections up to 10 meters while maintaining data transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps. This active repeater cable is plug-and-play and does not require driver installation. It is intended for connecting external devices such as external hard drives, NAS units, digital cameras, external USB graphics or for extending a VR headset connection from a PC or notebook to increase freedom of movement. A 1 m USB Type A to Micro USB cable (CAC-1408) is included for powering the repeater, allowing power to be applied at the repeater or at the cable end.

How to use

Connect the male USB A plug of the CAC-1405 to your computer or host device and connect the female USB A end to the external USB device. If additional power is required for the active repeater, connect the supplied CAC-1408 USB A to Micro USB cable to the repeater power input and to a USB power source. The cable is plug-and-play and should be recognized by the system without driver installation.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid tight bends and extreme kinks in the 10 m cable, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and use the provided CAC-1408 power cable when connecting power-hungry devices to ensure stable high-speed communication.
