A built-in electronic marker chip (E-Marker) ensures compatibility between the cable and the device, and allows the ASUS 65W USB-C GaN Charger to fast-charge laptops and mobile devices. The charger has been subjected to a battery of stringent durability tests, including a 3000-cycle cable bend test and 10,000-cycle insert-and-removal test.

How to use

Connect the charger to an AC power socket and plug your device using the supplied USB-C-to-USB-C cable. When charging a single device the adapter can deliver up to 65 W; when two devices are connected Smart Load Balancing distributes power between the ports. Ensure your device supports USB-C Power Delivery for maximum charging speed. The built-in E-Marker negotiates appropriate current with compatible cables and devices.

Recommendations

Use the supplied 1.5 m USB-C cable or other certified USB-C cables with E-Marker support. Avoid blocking ventilation around the adapter during extended high-power use and disconnect when not in use. For optimal performance, charge devices that support USB-C PD and follow device manufacturer guidelines.
