Chainsaw DeWalt DCM565P1 — cordless, 30 cm bar, 5 Ah battery, 0.12 L oil tank

The DeWALT DCM565P1 chainsaw is a compact, battery-powered tool equipped with a 30 cm Oregon bar and chain designed for general cutting tasks. Powered by an 18V, 5.0 Ah battery (supplied), the saw features a high-efficiency brushless motor and a chain speed of 7.68 m/s. Weighing approximately 3.3 kg, it offers cordless portability with lower vibration (3.5 m/s²) and a sound pressure level of 76.5 dB.

Advantages

The brushless motor increases runtime and reduces maintenance while automatic oiling keeps the bar and chain lubricated during use. Tool-free bar fitment and chain tensioning enable quick adjustments without extra tools, and the variable speed trigger provides improved control during cutting. The extensive over-mold improves grip and comfort for extended use.

Suitable for

• Pruning and trimming branches
• Cutting small to medium logs for firewood
• Light-duty property maintenance and garden work
• Transportable cutting tasks where cordless operation is required

Recommendations

For best results, use matching Oregon replacement bars and chains, maintain correct chain tension, and keep the automatic oiler filled with suitable bar oil. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, eye and hearing protection) and follow local regulations for battery handling and disposal.
