It has a centering tip, low sliding friction and reduced heat development. The bit is compatible with all rotary drills and hammer drills with 10 mm or 13 mm chucks and is suitable for hard and soft wood, coated chipboard, MDF boards, veneered wood and core boards. The product is supplied as a single piece in blister packaging.

How to use

Secure the centering drill bit in a compatible 10 mm or 13 mm chuck. Mark the drilling position and hold the workpiece firmly or clamp it. Start drilling at low speed to allow the centring tip to engage, then increase speed as required while maintaining steady pressure. Use appropriate drill speed for the material and avoid excessive force to prevent overheating. After drilling, retract the bit while the drill is running briefly to clear chips if necessary.

Recommendations

For best results, use suitable clamping and a drill speed matched to the material. Apply steady, moderate pressure and allow the bit to do the cutting. If working with veneered or laminated surfaces, consider a sacrificial backing board to reduce the risk of tear‑out at the exit side.
