The GIRA 210602 is a ceiling-mounted passive infrared presence and motion detector with integrated KNX bus coupler and wired AC power. Designed for indoor use, it provides 360° coverage and a detection range up to 2 m. The device combines three crossed-path PIR sensors and an integrated brightness sensor to detect presence, perform ceiling-observer motion detection, or send alarm telegrams; sensitivity and operating behavior are configurable for integration into lighting and security systems.

The detector is a flush-mounted unit with a visible programming LED/button that remains operable after installation if the ornamental ring is removed. Three PIR sensors provide separate long-range evaluation with overlapping detection zones, and a manual sensitivity adjuster is available on the device (can be deactivated in software). How to use

Install the GIRA 210602 as a flush-mounted ceiling unit and connect the KNX bus and AC supply according to the installation instructions and applicable electrical standards. Remove the ornamental ring if you need access to the programming LED/button after installation. Recommendations
