How to use

Slide the sleeve over the cable ends to be joined so that the splice area is centered under the sleeve. If using for fiber optic splicing, follow standard fibre preparation and splicing procedures before positioning the sleeve. Apply heat evenly to the sleeve until the material reaches its shrinking point (minimum 120°C) and the sleeve conforms snugly around the joint. Allow the sleeve to cool and verify that the joint is held securely.
