The DeLOCK 19181 Cable Sleeve in black is a woven polyester sleeve designed to bundle and protect exposed cables, electrical tubes and wires. Made from special continuous fibres combining monofilament and multifilament construction, the sleeve provides increased flame resistance and abrasion protection. It is supplied as a self-closing, cuttable sleeve with a diameter of 2.5 cm and a length of 2000 mm, suitable for a wide temperature range from -50 to 150 °C.

How to use

Push the cables into the open end of the self-closing woven sleeve; the braid expands to accept the bundle and closes around the cables when released. Add or remove cables as needed by spreading the braid and inserting or withdrawing the wires. If a shorter length is required, cut the sleeve to size with a hot cutting tool to seal the cut edge and reduce fraying. Ensure the sleeve fully covers exposed sections to provide protection.

Recommendations

Do not expose the sleeve to temperatures beyond the specified -50 to 150 °C range. Use a proper hot cutting tool to shorten the sleeve and avoid loose fibres; secure termination points if necessary with heat-shrink tubing or cable ties for strain relief.
