The Cimco 18 6226 cable organizer is a spiral band made from durable polyethylene (PE) for bundling and protecting cables in cable manufacturing, electronics, switch cabinet engineering, control and plant engineering. It is designed for efficient and clean bundling and routing of cables, wiring, cable harnesses and wire bundles, reducing abrasion and supporting harness stiffness. The product measures 10 m in length and 15 mm in width and is supplied in black as a single piece; customised lengths are possible to avoid material wastage.

How to use

Wrap the spiral band around the cable bundle by winding it along the length of the wires; for tighter bundling align the coils closely, or leave spaced turns to increase flexibility and save material. To add or remove cables, reopen the spiral at the required point and reposition as needed. Cut to customised length if necessary and seal or secure the ends according to your installation practice.

Recommendations

For best results, choose spacing between coils according to the desired flexibility and protection level: close winding for maximum protection and stiffness, spaced winding for reduced material use and easier branching. Avoid sharp bends beyond the bending radius of the cables being protected and check compatibility of PE with solvents or high-temperature environments.
