The InLine® IDC-20-to-terminal block adapter connects a 20-pin IDC socket (2×10) to a 10-pin screw terminal strip for easy signal wiring – no soldering required. The robust design on a stable circuit board is particularly suitable for structured installations in test benches, control devices, or embedded systems.
The screw terminals (5.0 mm pitch) are clearly labeled and support single wires from 16–26 AWG. Wiring is tool-assisted with a flat-head screwdriver ≤ 2.5 mm. An EVA insulating layer provides reliable protection when mounting on conductive surfaces.

How to use

Insert the matching IDC ribbon cable into the 20-pin IDC socket (2×10) and secure it according to the connector’s retention method. Strip single conductors to the appropriate length and insert them into the corresponding screw terminals (terminals labeled for clarity). Tighten each pressure plate terminal with a flat-head screwdriver (≤ 2.5 mm) until the conductor is securely clamped. Note that two adjacent IDC pins are internally combined to one screw terminal (e.g., pins 1+2 → terminal 1); verify pin-to-terminal mapping before wiring.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in dry, indoor environments within the specified temperature range and avoid exceeding the rated current and voltage. Verify wiring and continuity after installation; for long-term reliability in industrial systems, follow standard practices for strain relief and cable routing.
