BlueOptics SFP3132EU2MK is a 2 meter duplex fiber optic patch cord with LC‑UPC to SC‑UPC connectors, laser‑optimized multi‑mode OM3 (G50/125 µm) fiber and an LSZH flame‑retardant jacket. The cable is designed for 850 nm transmission and full‑duplex connections between patch panels, transceivers and other networking equipment. Each cable includes a measurement protocol showing input loss and return loss values.

Advantages

The cable offers low input loss (under 0.2 dB) and a typical attenuation of 3.5 dB/km for OM3 multimode fiber. Connectors use zirconia ceramic ferrules and branded components from established manufacturers to ensure reliable mating cycles and consistent performance. How to use

Unpack the measured patch cord and verify the supplied measurement protocol. Remove protective caps from the LC and SC connectors before insertion. Insert the SC connector into the SC port and the LC connector into the LC port of the transceiver or patch panel until the connectors click into place. Route the cable with gentle bends, avoiding sharp bends and excessive pull force. When disconnecting, release the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

For best performance, use this OM3 duplex cable for short‑reach 850 nm multimode links in data centres and server rooms; avoid tight bends below the specified bend radius and protect connectors with dust caps when not in use. Custom lengths are available on request.
