BlueOptics SFP2121BU3MM InfiniBand fibre optic cable 3 m LC Yellow

BlueOptics SFP2121BU3MM is a 3 meter single-mode LC/APC to LC/APC simplex fibre optic patch cord in yellow, using ITU-T G.657.A1 (9/125 µm) fibre. It is designed for reliable transmission of 1310 nm and 1550 nm signals and for connecting patch panel ports, optical transceivers or other LC/APC interfaces in InfiniBand and high-speed networking environments. The cable has a flame-retardant LSZH outer jacket for reduced smoke and no halogen release.

Connectors use a zirconia ceramic ferrule and branded fibre from established manufacturers to ensure consistent, loss-minimised performance and a rated mating durability of up to 1500 cycles. Each cable is tested with interferometer and OTDR and ships with a measurement protocol showing input loss and return loss values.

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before insertion. Align the LC/APC connectors and insert gently into the corresponding LC/APC ports on transceivers or patch panels until they click. Avoid tight bends by following the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius and route the cable securely to prevent strain on connectors. For removal, depress the LC latch and pull straight out without twisting.

Store and handle the fibre patch cord in a clean environment; clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if signal loss increases. If a different cable length is required, custom lengths are available on request.
