The BlueOptics Q28-AOC-7M-QL-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 7 m active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP28 connectors designed for short-range, high-speed interconnects in data centres and high-performance computing environments. It uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and supports 100GBASE-SR4 Ethernet-class transmissions. The cable features LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) flame-resistant sheathing, hot-pluggable QSFP28 ends with integrated electrical-to-optical and optical-to-electrical conversion, and compliance with SFF/MSA and IEEE connector specifications.
