The BlueOptics Q28-AOC-7M-PA-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 7 m QSFP28 to QSFP28 Active Optical Cable (AOC) designed for high-speed short-reach interconnects in data centers and high-performance computing environments. Using OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter, this cable supports 100GBASE-SR4 Ethernet and InfiniBand connectivity while offering reduced weight and improved flexibility compared with direct-attach copper solutions. The QSFP28 connectors include integrated optical/electrical conversion components and conform to SFF/MSA and relevant IEEE specifications. The sheath is LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) to reduce hazardous emissions in case of fire.
