The BlueOptics Q28-AOC-7M-MA-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 7-metre active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP28 to QSFP28 connectors designed for short-distance high-speed links inside and between server racks. It uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) sheathing. The cable integrates optical transceiver modules at both ends that convert electrical signals to optical and back, enabling 100GBASE-SR4 and other QSFP28 applications where low weight, improved bend radius and hot-pluggable connectivity are required.
