The BlueOptics Q28-AOC-25M-RW-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 25-meter QSFP28 to QSFP28 active optical cable (AOC) engineered for 100G high-speed short-reach links within racks or between adjacent racks. It uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) sheath for reduced smoke and halogen emissions. The cable integrates hot-pluggable QSFP28 transceiver modules with built-in optical/electrical conversion to support 100GBASE-SR4 Ethernet and InfiniBand interconnects while providing lower weight and improved flexibility compared with passive Direct Attach twinax assemblies.
