This BlueOptics MPO/UPC to 4x Duplex LC/UPC breakout patch cable converts a single MPO trunk into four duplex LC/UPC terminations. The 2 m multimode OM4 cable uses G50/125 µm fiber with an 8-core construction and a 3.0 mm LSZH jacket in magenta. The MPO connector is supplied without pins and the product is delivered with a measurement/test report. It is designed for high-density multimode links in data centers, server racks and optical patch panels where orderly fanout from MPO trunks to LC duplex ports is required.

How to use

Route the 2 m breakout cable from the MPO trunk to the target patch panel or cassette, ensuring bend radius limits are observed for multimode fiber. Align the MPO connector with the corresponding MPO receptacle and engage until the connector latches. Plug each duplex LC/UPC pair into the appropriate LC ports on the patch panel, transceiver or device, maintaining correct polarity for transmit/receive mapping. Verify connections using the supplied measurement/test report and, if required, run an additional optical test after installation to confirm loss and continuity.
