How to use

Place the adjustable cuff on the upper arm with the tube aligned as instructed in the user manual and sit upright with the arm supported at heart level. Insert AAA batteries if necessary and switch on the device. Start a measurement — the cuff will inflate automatically and then deflate while the unit displays systolic, diastolic and pulse values. Review the result on the large LCD and store it in memory if required. Repeat measurements after a few minutes if one reading appears inconsistent.

Recommendations

Measure under consistent conditions: rest for 5 minutes before measuring, avoid heavy exercise, caffeine and smoking for at least 30 minutes beforehand, and take measurements at similar times each day to monitor trends accurately.
