How to use

Drill or prepare the hole to the appropriate diameter for the rivet shank. Insert the GESIPA PolyGrip rivet through the components to be joined so the head bears against the surface. Place the mandrel in a compatible blind-riveting tool and pull the mandrel until the rivet deforms and the wide closing head forms on the blind side. Continue pulling until the mandrel breaks and locks into the spent-mandrel position. Inspect the joint to ensure the head is flush and the tail has formed a secure bulge without excessive clearance.

Recommendations

For best results use a rivet tool rated for 3.2 mm mandrels and follow tool manufacturer instructions. Select hole diameters and surface preparation appropriate for stainless steel to avoid galling.
