CONFERENCE ROOM HUB

Devio SCX™ 800 is a conference room hub compatible with Biamp’s network audio and control devices. It also features USB audio and HID synchronization that allow it to act as a conference audio peripheral when connected with Biamp Modena devices, or Unified Communications systems. The unit includes a SIP VoIP interface via Gigabit Ethernet connection, which supports one line and two call appearances. Devio SCX features enough onboard acoustic echo cancellation and processing to handle up to 8 of Biamp’s Parlé™ Microphones.

Devio SCX 800 features Biamp Launch, an automated discovery and tuning system that allows the conferencing hub to detect and configure attached Biamp devices. Biamp Launch also provides a full acoustic and performance report indicating the results of the automatic process upon completion.

All aspects of the SCX 800 can be controlled using a web interface hosted on the device, and via SageVue, Biamp’s management and monitoring platform.

ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS SPECIFICATION
The conferencing hub shall be designed to connect Unified Communications systems with in-room audio. The conferencing hub shall utilize an Ethernet network via an RJ-45 connector for software configuration and control. The configuration of the conferencing hub shall be configurable via an on board web page and SageVue monitoring and management software including but not limited to: VoIP configuration and Biamp Launch settings as well as control, monitoring, and diagnostic tools. The conferencing hub shall connect to Biamp network audio and control peripherals via RJ-45 connectors. The conferencing hub provide PoE+ power to attached peripherals.

The conferencing hub shall connect to Unified Communications host devices, or Windows® or Mac OS X computers via a Universal Serial Bus (USB) connection using a standard USB type B connector.

The conferencing hub shall support Biamp Launch an automated audio setup process that detects connect devices, configures them and optimizes audio output levels after physical installation is complete. The automated process shall produce a report upon completion.

The conferencing hub shall support one SIP VoIP telephony line via an RJ-45 interface, with two call appearances. The conferencing hub shall be CE marked, UL listed, and compliant with the RoHS directive. Warranty shall be five years. The conferencing hub shall be the Devio SCX 800.
