The TEAC TN-180BT-A3 is a semi-automatic belt-drive turntable that combines traditional vinyl playback with modern wireless convenience. The unit plays 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm records, includes a pre-installed VM/MM-type cartridge (Audio-Technica AT3600L equivalent), and offers selectable outputs: PHONO, LINE (RCA) and a built-in Bluetooth® transmitter for wireless connection to speakers or headphones. The chassis uses a single high-density MDF wooden board to reduce vibration, and the tonearm returns automatically at the end of playback.

How to use

Place the turntable on a stable, level surface and connect power. Fit the dust cover if desired and remove any shipping locks. Choose the output mode (PHONO for amplifiers with phono input, LINE for devices without phono, or use the Bluetooth transmitter for wireless listening). Place a record on the platter and select the correct speed (33 1/3, 45 or 78 rpm). Lift the tonearm and position the stylus over the record groove; the tonearm will lower and playback will begin. At the end of playback the tonearm will return automatically to its rest. Use the BT pairing button at the tonearm base to pair with Bluetooth speakers or headphones; the indicator lights when a connection is established.

Recommendations

To protect the stylus and preserve records, limit playback of 78 rpm (SP) records with the pre-installed stylus because their wider grooves may increase wear; use a dedicated 78 rpm stylus when possible. Keep the turntable on a vibration-free surface, clean records before playback, and avoid moving the unit while a record is spinning.
