The TN-175 is a two-speed belt-drive turntable with full automatic operation that plays LP and EP records. A static-balanced straight tonearm with a pre-installed Audio-Technica AT3600L (VM/MM) cartridge allows immediate playback after unboxing. The mechanism automatically lowers the tonearm to start playing and returns it to its rest position when playback finishes.

How to use

Place the turntable on a level, vibration-free surface, remove any transport protection and connect the unit to an amplifier or powered speakers using the Line output or Phono output depending on your system. Select the desired speed (33 1/3 or 45 RPM), open the dust cover, place a record on the platter, and press the start control; the tonearm will automatically lower to begin playback and will return to its rest position when the record finishes.

Recommendations

Use a properly grounded amplifier or the Line output if your system lacks grounding to minimize hum. Keep the turntable on a stable surface away from speakers to reduce feedback. Clean records and stylus regularly and replace the cartridge or stylus as recommended by the manufacturer for optimal sound and record preservation.
