1000V insulating mat designed for use in electrical switch rooms and other environments where protection against electrical shock is required. The mat is made from a grey polymer with a raised, grooved coarse tread for improved surefootedness. It is weathering-, ozone- and light-resistant, and offers resistance to acids, oil and fire (UL 94 V-0). The mat thickness is 3 mm and it meets the dielectric strength requirements of test voltage class 0 (1000 V). Temperature resistance ranges from −30°C to +70°C.

Advantages

The mat combines electrical insulation with a slip-resistant tread, high tear resistance and large elongation at break. It is abrasion-resistant and formulated to be free of nitrosamines and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in accordance with EU regulation 1272/2013. The material's properties support long service life in indoor and sheltered outdoor applications.

How to use

Place the mat on a clean, dry and level floor surface in front of electrical panels or work areas where insulation against contact voltage is required. Ensure edges lie flat and the raised tread faces upward. Cut to size if necessary using a suitable utility knife or shears, taking care to maintain edge integrity. Inspect the mat regularly for cuts, wear or contamination and replace if damaged or if insulating properties are compromised.

Recommendations

Do not use the mat outdoors in prolonged direct sunlight or where it will be exposed to continuous immersion. Keep the mat free of conductive contaminants such as metallic debris, solvents or heavy oils. Store flat, indoors and away from heat sources to preserve electrical and mechanical properties.
