Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Helly Hansen Work Day 27 L is a black, 27-liter backpack designed for daily commuting, work and study. The pack combines a compact profile with a capacious main compartment and organized pockets to carry a laptop, documents and everyday items. Materials and construction follow Helly Hansen’s focus on durability and practical urban use, providing a reliable carry solution for routine indoor and outdoor movement.

Advantages

The backpack offers a balance of capacity and compactness, allowing easy maneuvering in crowded environments while holding essential gear. Reinforced seams and durable fabric provide resistance to abrasion and daily wear. Internal organization keeps a laptop and documents separated from smaller accessories, and padded shoulder straps increase carrying comfort during commutes or short hikes.

Suitable for

  • Daily commuting to work or school
  • Urban travel and short business trips
  • Carrying laptop, documents and personal items
  • Outdoor activities such as light hiking or day trips

Key specifications

  • Capacity: 27 liters
  • Color: black
  • Main compartment with internal organization for laptop and documents
  • Padded shoulder straps for comfort
  • Durable exterior fabric with reinforced seams
  • Compact dimensions suitable for crowded or confined spaces

How to use

Place larger items such as a laptop and folders in the main compartment and use internal pockets for chargers, pens and smaller accessories. Adjust the padded shoulder straps so the pack sits comfortably on the back and distributes weight evenly. For daily commuting, pack heavier items closer to the back to reduce strain. Close zippers and fasten any external straps before placing the backpack in public transport racks or under seats.

Recommendations

For prolonged daily use, inspect seams and zippers periodically, avoid overloading beyond the recommended capacity, and clean the exterior fabric according to manufacturer textile care guidelines to maintain water resistance and appearance.
