How to use

Insert the Mini DisplayPort (male) connector into the source device’s Mini DisplayPort output and plug the HDMI (Type A) connector into the target display’s HDMI input. The cable performs active conversion automatically; no drivers or software installation are required. Ensure the source device and display are powered on and set the display input to the HDMI port if necessary. The adapter is unidirectional and will only convert from Mini DisplayPort to HDMI.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use with devices that support Mini DisplayPort v1.2 and displays compatible with HDMI v1.4b. Maximum 4K performance is achieved at 30Hz; for higher refresh rates at 4K, verify both source and display support the required specifications or consider an alternative adapter with HDMI 2.0/DP 1.4 support.
