How to use

Connect the DS-55518 receiver to a display using an HDMI cable and to the network using a supported Cat cable via the RJ-45 port. If using the point-to-point configuration with the DS-55517 transmitter, link both devices directly with Cat6 up to 120 m. For multi-monitor distribution, connect the transmitter to your network switch and add additional DS-55518 receivers on other network ports; the system can then reproduce the same AV content on multiple screens across the network. Use the IR interface to control the source device from the display location if required.

Recommendations

For reliable Full HD transmission, use quality Cat6 or better cables and commercial-grade network switches. Ensure network bandwidth and switch configuration support multicast or the required point-to-multipoint setup when scaling to many displays, and keep cable runs within recommended distances to avoid signal degradation.
