Auerswald COMpact 4000+ Autom. Zentrale+ Erweiterung 4 auf 8+ 8 12 Kanäle

The Auerswald COMpact 4000+ stands apart from typical SMB telephone systems by combining a modular hybrid architecture with an included expansion module that doubles analog capacity right out of the box. While many PBX solutions lock you into a fixed configuration, this system grows with your business—start with 4 analog extensions and expand to 8 without additional hardware purchases. With support for up to 12 external channels across ISDN and VoIP, it bridges legacy telephony and modern SIP trunking in a single, wall-mountable unit.

Highlights

• Hybrid IP-PBX supporting analog, ISDN, and VoIP endpoints simultaneously
• Included expansion module upgrades internal analog ports from 4 to 8
• Up to 12 external channels: 2 S0 ISDN + 8 VoIP + 2 additional S0 via optional modules
• Integrated voicemail, fax-to-email, and LAN-TAPI CTI for PC-based call control
• Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0 for flexible network and peripheral connectivity
• Web-based management with no additional software required

In daily use

Deploying the COMpact 4000+ is straightforward: connect it to your LAN, plug in analog phones or ISDN devices, and configure SIP trunks through the intuitive web interface. The included expansion module means you can immediately support up to eight analog extensions—ideal for offices with fax machines, cordless bases, or door intercoms. VoIP channels allow cost-effective external calling, while the integrated voicemail and fax-to-email features ensure no message is missed. CTI support via LAN-TAPI lets staff dial from Outlook or CRM tools, boosting productivity. Wall-mounting keeps the unit out of the way, and the external power adapter ensures quiet, fanless operation.
