Fully pre-assembled surface-mounted door station designed for vertical surface-mounted installation, allowing quick and clean fitting. The device belongs to the Gira TX_44 design line and combines an aluminium profile frame with a shatter-proof thermoplastic front plate for torsional rigidity, UV resistance and a scratch-resistant surface. The unit features theft protection with Torx screws, white LED-illuminated call button, weather-resistant speaker and a high-quality electret microphone. Signal transmission and power for audio/video components use a reverse-polarity-protected and short-circuit-proof 2-wire bus. Compact dimensions: 110 mm (width) × 19 mm (depth) × 181 mm (height).

How to use

Mount the pre-assembled door station vertically on the surface using appropriate screws and anchors for the installation substrate. Connect the 2-wire bus to the building's intercom system following the polarity-protection guidance; the bus supplies both signal and power to the unit. Use the one-man start-up procedure provided by Gira for commissioning. Insert or replace the call-button name plate without tools by removing the cover plate as described in the installation instructions. Adjust voice volume as required from the connected indoor station or according to the system documentation.
